Obituary: June Adelle Wilson

June Adelle Wilson, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at Marley House in Prescott, Ariz.

June resided with her daughter and son-in-law in Prescott for the past two years and passed away peacefully at the age of 90. She was born Oct. 24, 1921, in Stockton, Calif., and lived in Salinas, Calif., with her longtime late companion, Cardwell Porfiris, for more than 50 years.

She is survived by her only daughter, Cindy Nelson-Fleeman, and her son-in-law Floyd Fleeman of Prescott. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Brian Nelson of Prescott and Kimberly Medina of Highlands Ranch, Colo., as well as her six great-grandchildren, Megan, Molly and Kasey Medina and Meghan Perry, Clayton Lindberg and Brayden Nelson.

June Wilson worked for the Civil Service in Fort Ord, Calif., for 50 years. June and Cardy were amongst the original members of the Salinas Valley Ramblers and loved to join their friends on their motorcycle journeys!

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in June's name to Good Samaritan Society - Marley House, 1065 Ruth St., Prescott, AZ 86301.
