The Prescott High School golf team beat the field Wednesday, but more importantly, to position themselves for the postseason.
Final team scores were Prescott 156, Flagstaff 163, Bradshaw Mountain 179 and Coronado 207.
The team notched its second qualifying score, and individual members continue to charge toward punching tickets for the state meet. Blair Walsh, coming off of his third-place finish last week at the BMHS Invitational, was the medalist on Wednesday with his third individual qualifying round.
The entire team needs three more qualifying scores, Walsh needs two more individual qualifiers, and Prescott's Donald Bates is looking for his third.
"The team played great," PHS head coach Travis Andrist said. "I was glad to see some players shoot their lowest scores of the season and getting the win."
Walsh shot a 36, followed by Drake Parker who captured his lowest score of the season with 38. The rest of the card included Christian Fernandez (40), Bates (42), Brandon Eastman (44) and Tristan Soto (46).
Bradshaw Mountain was led by Tyler Inglehart's 39. Nate Marty shot 40, and Tanner Spohn shot 49.
Prescott ends the season with one more home match and two on the road, starting Thursday against Bradshaw Mountain, Mingus Union and Mohave at Prescott Golf and Country Club in Dewey.
