Togo's sandwich chain to open 2 locations here

Togo's, a "West Coast Original" sandwich shop since 1971, announced plans to expand in Arizona, with two locations in Prescott and 23 elsewhere throughout the state.

"Togo's has experienced great success in Arizona, so we're boosting our expansion plans to include additional Arizona towns," said Tony Gioia, chairman and chief executive officer of Togo's Holdings LLC, based in San Jose, Calif.

Wow, what a surprise. another sandwich shop. How about another Mexican restaurant? or burger joint? steakhouse anyone? coffee shop? yogurt shop?

So very original. good luck... I think the translated indian name of Prescott is "Town with Only Retail and Restaurants"

Well if they don't make a nice soft sandwich for bluehairs, they'll have trouble in a market where there are so few paychecks!

I am glad to hear TOGO's is coming to PV. I grew up in San Jose and enjoyed TOGO's #7. I moved to the Seattle area 13 years ago, where there is no TOGO's. One more reason to make the move to Prescott.
Great news

I would prefer the #7 Roast beef, hot or cold its great, provolone cheese and some chopped salad peppers make it perfect. Top with Lettuce Tomato and Mayo if you like.

FINALLY, I have been missing TOGO's for almost ten years. Their #29 (chicken salad sandwich) was a staple of my diet for 30 years and I've missed it dearly, others have tried to copy it but never succeeded, sure I could drive to CA but thats absurd. Please open one in PV, there are a lot of ex Californians here who would keep the place rich with business.
